There is a Historic Site or County Park within minutes of your home, most featuring
many of your favorite activities…no matter what the season. We invite you to explore
the historic sites to experience the history of Montgomery County.

SCHOOLS:
There are plenty of public and private school options throughout the School District Montgomery County in terms of both primary and secondary education.

PARKS & RECREATION:

The County park system has extensive facilities for residents throughout the County. First established in 1939, the primary function of the Parks Department is land preservation in its natural setting.
A nine­member Park Board comprised of County residents advises the staff and Commissioners on park operations. The Montgomery County park system is recognized as one of the finest in the state.
